How Fund For Band Began

As students at St. Petersburg High School, we know a lot of people who went to Madeira Beach Fundamental for K-8, and due to Zachary Ratkiewicz's involvement in our school's marching band, we know the deep connection our school's band program has with Madeira's: middle school football band night, elementary school discovery night, and more.

After hearing about the devastating impacts that the two hurricanes (Helene and Milton) caused Madeira Beach Fundamental, having its students temporarily relocate to other schools, we contacted the band director, Ms. Warren, and created a goal: raise $500 for Madeira Beach Fundamental's band program's emergency/relief fund.

Where are Fund For Band's donations going? Straight to Ms. Warren, Madeira Beach Fundamental's band director, and her band program! The money donated will allow Ms. Warren to purchase back needed materials that were lost, damaged, or unattainable after the hurricanes. These materials include: reeds, mouthpieces, drum sticks, music books, paper, printer ink, and more.
